Folsom's Festival of Eggs Hops into Action, Rain or Shine

Folsom's annual Festival of Eggs is on, rain or shine, at Lembi Park this Saturday.
For families with children 10 and under, the event offers a pancake breakfast, free carnival games, and plenty of hands-on activities hosted by the Folsom Teen Council.
The centerpiece will be the Kid's Bunny Trail where children can gather eggs, meet the Easter Bunny, and have a chance to win the Golden Egg Prize.
Sacramento Housing Market Remains Strong

The Sacramento housing market showed resilience this year with the median sold price for existing single-family homes hitting $530,000 in February.
This marks a 2.9% rise from January and a 6.2% increase from the previous year. Additionally, sales volume jumped 18% from the previous month as market activity continues to rise.
Four Folsom Schools Earn State Distinction

Four schools in the Folsom Cordova Unified School District have been named 2024 California Distinguished Schools - Folsom High School, Vista del Lago High School, Folsom Middle School, and Sutter Middle School.
This prestigious honor recognizes schools that excel in closing achievement gaps and demonstrating exceptional student performance.
"This outstanding achievement is a testament to the dedication and hard work of the students, educators, staff, and families who contribute to the success of these exceptional FCUSD schools," stated the district.
🏡 6 Key Features of The Perfect Home Listing
97% of homebuyers use the internet to search for homes, making a compelling online listing essential to catch their eye. Here's how to make sure yours does:
Hook Buyers with a Winning Headline: Grab attention by highlighting your home's top features, like a desirable location, recent reno, or amazing outdoor space.
Show, Don't Just Tell: Use professional photos to showcase your home's best assets. For vacant homes, implement virtual staging to help buyers visualize the potential.
Craft an Engaging Description: In around 200 words, describe your home's unique features, upgrades, and neighborhood perks.
Tout Brand Names: Got Viking appliances? Restoration Hardware light fixtures? Mention them! Brand names signal a commitment to quality that attracts attention.
Sell the Lifestyle: Play up features that speak to how buyers want to live, like home offices, outdoor kitchens, or open floor plans made for entertaining.
Don't Forget the Neighborhood: Buyers care about location, so highlight local selling points like great schools, local businesses, parks, and trails.
Crafting an excellent listing can elevate your home to the top and attract motivated buyers. You only have a few seconds to make a first impression online, so spend the time to make it count!
