The former Cliff House of Folsom is poised for a significant makeover, becoming Crawdads on the Lake.

Slated for a May reopening, this $1 million renovation will feature an enlarged outdoor patio, a revamped menu featuring specialty beverages, and live music, mirroring the charm of its Sacramento sister. The revamped venue is set to become a vibrant destination for locals and tourists alike.

Preservation Hall Jazz Band Lights Up Folsom

The Preservation Hall Jazz Band, a beacon of New Orleans music for more than six decades, will perform at Folsom's Harris Center for the Arts on March 11. The event will celebrate New Orleans' musical legacy, from its Afro-Cuban origins to its impact on contemporary music legends.

The band's latest album, "So It Is," explores this musical lineage, connecting the dots between New Orleans jazz, Afrobeat, and contemporary music.

The concert, starting at 7:30 p.m., provides a unique chance for locals to immerse themselves in the soulful, joyous sounds of New Orleans right in their backyard.

Volunteers Needed for Folsom's Spring Eggstravaganza

The City of Folsom invites volunteers for the annual Spring Eggstravaganza, a family-friendly Festival of Eggs, at Lembi Park on Easter weekend.

Join in on March 27, from 5:30-8 pm, to fill over 25,000 eggs with candy and prizes. Individuals, families, groups, and clubs are welcome. Participants must pre-register online, and those under 14 need adult supervision.
